Pocket Media is SA born Telecoms Company founded as innovation division of Discounted Lifestyle Group Company in 2005. It focuses on the development of innovative telecom media feedback platforms, packaging and distribution B2C media (mobile marketing) campaigns for content delivery over the global networks. At the heart of this business, is a team of dedicated employees who are continuously pushing the digital divide, developing turn-key technologies which embrace ingenuity and paint the landscape for Quality and digital transformation. Our products include SMS, MMS, .Mobi, Video Mags, Video Push and Video Pull.The PocketMedia was conceptualised 7 years before its time. The process started on the realization that there was a need for the consumer to receive 24/7 product centric information pertaining to the brand, on demand. The internet was an evolution in creating a global resource for information but even this medium has its limitations in accurately and conveniently portraying the media message as a natural progression and Call to Action for the consumer. There was a need to transform one dimensional marketing messages focusing on brand identity awareness, encountered in primary mediums, into a three dimensional experience for the prospective customer. Fully engage the consumer to be part of the brand ethos and embrace campaign experience fully!! From a marketing perspective the opportunities were endless and we were starting to embrace all these possibilities....What if we could view information at our fingertips and transform the cellphone into a virtual remote control for product information?
